All students must have their academic plans approved by their advisor in Self-Service and have their advising hold removed.
New Students: Students who have never attended Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute or students who are returning after one year away should complete our Admissions process. Admissions Specialists will help you choose a program and register for classes for your first semester. Once the semester has begun, you will be assigned an academic advisor in your program.
Continuing (Current) Students: Students can find the name of their assigned Academic Advisor in Self Service:
All students must have approval from their Academic Advisor in order to register for classes. Please use the following steps to prepare for your meeting with your advisor:
Continuing Education and Workforce Development courses are considered “non-degree”. While you won’t earn college credit towards a degree, Continuing Education and Workforce Development classes provide you with industry-recognized certifications and CEUs.
Students interested in Continuing Education and Workforce Development programs can register at any time. For more information on course schedules and how to register, visit here – Continuing Education and Workforce Development – Caldwell Community College & TI.
Holds are placed on student accounts for tuition balances, financial aid debts, library fines, missing transcripts or records documents, etc., must be resolved through the office that placed the hold. These holds will block your ability to register or make changes in Self-Service until they are cleared.
If a course is full, you can join the waitlist for a closed section by selecting “Add to Waitlist” instead of “Register”. Should a seat open up and you’re next in line, you’ll be automatically enrolled – provided you meet all course requirements, have no registration holds or errors, and there are no time conflicts with your current schedule. You’ll receive an email notification if you’re successfully enrolled.
Keep in mind that only the top few students on the waitlist typically get in, and only if someone drops the class. Openings are most common in the days following the payment deadline.
Grades are available online through Self-Service under “Grades”. CCC&TI does not mail grade reports. It is the student’s responsibility to verify that their grades are correct within 10 business days of the final grade posting.
