Greenway Public Transportation Caldwell Micro-Transit

Micro-Transit is a same-day, on-demand, curb-to-curb service. There is no need to walk to a stop and “wait” until the bus arrives. Micro-Transit service is available within the displayed zone below. There is no need to follow current requirements to “book” a ride which requires the customer to call at least one day in advance, prior to 12 noon. This service creates much more flexibility! $2.50 (must be paid in cash and correct change each time you board the vehicle). You are allowed to bring on attendant for free. Service animals are allowed. Children 5 and under ride free.

Service animals are trained to work or perform a task for persons with disabilities. Comfort or emotional support animals are not allowed. Service animal must be under control of the handler.

How can I ride Micro-Transit?

To schedule a ride, please call in to Dispatch at (828)465-7634 or Scheduling at (828)464-9444 to verify your origin and your destination and within the available service area.

How long will it take for my ride?

These rides are scheduled by availability on a first come/first serve basis. They will be able to schedule a pick up for you in 30 minutes or less from the time you call.

Do the vehicles have a lift?

Yes! Their vehicles do have a lift for those who feel they cannot use the steps to get onto the vehicle.
