Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute’s volleyball team picked a road victory Tuesday night, defeating Cleveland Community College in five sets.
Caldwell won by scores of 21-25, 25-26, 22-25, 25-18, and 15-12. The Cobras improved their record to 7-5 overall.
Lyrical Edwards led the team with 18 kills. The freshman also had three service aces and a hitting percentage of .262. On the defensive end, Edwards had 14 digs.
Destiny Jordan contributed with 12 kills and a .267 hitting percentage. She also had two service aces and six block assists.
Taylor McClure led Caldwell with 24 assists while Lydia Jones had 22. Gracie McClure had a team high 30 digs. Rebecca Bertoni had four block assists.
Caldwell’s next match will be Thursday night in Hudson with a 6:00PM start time.
