At the Learning Resource Center, students can find themselves relaxing, studying, or reading a newly published book in the warm atmosphere of the LRC. Hot coffee, fresh water, and comfy seats welcome every student as they stop by after a stressful day commuting between classes (trust me, you’ll need it!) Whether you prefer quiet study or lively conversation, the LRC has a space for you. You can sit in the secluded study area or lounge on the plush couches available next to the chessboard. From tutoring at the Academic Support Center and Writing Center to finding a great book to read, you can always count on the LRC to help. Teachers recommend utilizing the Tutoring Centers because they assist students in understanding the topics they struggle with. If you go downstairs, you can also buy yourself a cold soda or latte from the vending machines in the Lounge or snacks from the bookstore (my personal favorite is the peach-flavored Peace Tea). Next time you decide to stop in, don’t forget to answer the daily question on the whiteboard!
