ATI’s Test of Academic Skills (TEAS)

What you need to know before taking the TEAS.

ATI’s Test of Academic Skills (TEAS) has four parts: reading, math, science, and English. Each section is timed, and the test’s total time limit is 3 hours and 48 minutes.

NOTE: No more than 2 attempts are allowed within an academic year (August 1 – July 31)

You will need to schedule between these hours:
Monday & Wednesday – 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Tuesday& Thursday – 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Friday – 8:00 a.m. only
Available Appointment Times:
Monday-Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m.
Thursday: between 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. only

Before You Come to Test:

  • Go to www.atitesting.com and “Create Account”
  • The Institution is “Caldwell CC NC.”

When you come to test:

  • Make sure you bring the following:
    • a photo ID (school ID or driver’s license)
    • your ATI username and password
    • a credit or debit card to pay online (No CASH)
  • The cost is $70.00 (subject to change). You will pay within your ATI account (onsite at the Testing Center).
  • All you can use when testing is blank paper and pencils provided by the Testing Center.
  • NO outside calculators are allowed. A calculator will come up on the screen for math and possibly science as allowed by ATI.
  • Testers may take an optional 10-minute break after the math portion.

After You Complete the Test:

  • You can view or print your results from your ATI TEAS account at any time.
  • CCC&TI admissions staff will automatically receive your results when you test in one of our Testing Centers.
