✔ Reduce or eliminate your tuition costs
✔ Help with other costs of attending college, including textbook funds and monthly incentives
✔ Connect you with tutors and other support services
✔ Provide a dedicated Boost academic advisor to keep you on track for graduation
✔ Be a U.S. North Carolina resident eligible for in-state tuition, according to the NC Residency Determination Service (RDS)
✔ Possess a high school diploma or high school equivalency when you enter the program
✔ Apply for financial aid via FAFSA
✔ Receive the Pell Grant or Next NC Scholarship or receive VA funding
✔ Enroll in an eligible degree program (see list on right)
✔ Have no more than 24-28 program-applicable college credits earned, or in progress, when you are accepted into the NC Boost program
✔ Attempt at least 24 credits per academic year
✔ Connect with your advisor monthly
✔ Attend two approved activities and one career-related event each semester
