The Aspire Appalachian Co-Admission Program provides a seamless pathway from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute to Appalachian State. Students who complete one of the following two-year associate degree programs with a 2.25 GPA within three years are guaranteed admission to Appalachian State to complete their undergraduate degree.

- Associate in Fine Arts-Music
- Associate in Fine Arts-Visual Arts
- Associate in Applied Science Early Childhood Education
- Associate in Applied Science Speech Pathology
(Note: Aspire Appalachian is not a dual enrollment program; students will be admitted to Appalachian State University after meeting all requirements of the Aspire Appalachian program at CCC&TI. Additionally, students are not guaranteed admission into a particular major at Appalachian as some high demand programs may have admission requirements beyond those for general admission to Appalachian.)

Please fill out this form to indicate your intent to participate in the Aspire Appalachian program prior to transferring to Appalachian State University.
Students are eligible for Aspire Appalachian if they meet the following criteria:
- have graduated from high school or high school equivalency and continue at the community college
- are on track toward completion of select two-year associate degree transfer programs
- enrolled in Early College or other innovative high school
- *Students in the Career & College Promise transfer pathway are not eligible to apply while still enrolled in high school.
Students who were previously enrolled as undergraduate students at Appalachian are not eligible for the Aspire program. For questions about readmission to Appalachian, contact the Registrar’s Office or readmission@appstate.edu.
