Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute is excited that you are considering our institution to continue your educational journey, and we look forward to the opportunity to serve you! Below is a list of important steps to help you complete the admission process, explore financial aid options, and be fully prepared to meet with your Admission Specialist for academic planning and registration.
Apply EARLY but no later than March 1, 2024 to prepare for FALL registration which begins 4/10/24.
*Early graduates should apply in October of 2023 to prepare for SPRING registration which begins 11/15/23.
We will be better prepared to serve you if you can ensure that the following steps are ALL completed at LEAST 2 weeks prior to attending an Academic Planning Session to register classes.
- Apply EARLY to be a CCC&TI Student:
- Spring 2024 target date: 10/1/23
- Fall 2024 target date: 3/1/24
Even if you have taken CCC&TI courses as a high school student, you will need to complete a new college application as a college student.
Part of the college application process is to determine your residency status for tuition billing purposes. Your RCN (Residency Certification Number) must be current in our system. You may need a parent/guardian to assist you with answering some of the residency-related questions.
About 1 week after you complete your college application, you will receive a “Welcome to CCC&TI” email and be mailed a New Student Welcome Packet including your student ID# and next steps.
- Apply EARLY for Financial Aid https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa
Any financial aid funds you may be eligible to receive can take up to 3 weeks to be posted to your student financial account after completing the FAFSA application. Visit the Pay For College webpage for more information about completing your FAFSA & scholarship application. Apply for the 2024-25 FAFSA no later than April 1st if you are graduating in May/June 2024. Email your questions to finaid@cccti.edu.
*Early graduates should additionally apply for the 2023-24 FAFSA and for CCC&TI Foundation Scholarships
- Submit Official Transcripts after you have graduated
All students must submit official high school transcripts. All transcripts will be evaluated to determine placement test needs, developmental English and math needs, or exemption.
