Crisis / Personal Counseling

In case of emergency or risk of injury, please contact 911.

CCC&TI provides free, confidential counseling to registered students. Students are encouraged to use counseling services if they have personal, academic, or career concerns. The professional counseling staff, after the initial assessment, will refer students who need specialized or long-term services to appropriate resources within the community.

Students may also qualify for free counseling through our Counselor Referral Program (CRP) with an external agency. To learn more please speak to one of our college counselors.

For a Personal Counseling appointment please contact Alexis Shook at ashook@cccti.edu or 828.726.2746.

If you need to speak to a counselor and one is not available, please call Vaya Health at 1-800-849-6127. Vaya Health is a community resource that is available 24/7 that serves both Caldwell and Watauga counties.
