At Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute’s July Board of Trustees meeting on the Caldwell Campus in Hudson, two new trustees were sworn in, one trustee was reappointed and new officers were elected to serve for the coming year.
Christina Bryant, Executive Assistant to the President and Board of Trustees administered the oath to Mr. Jerry Church who was reappointed by the Caldwell County Commissioners for a four-year-term through 2028. Student Government Association President Ms. Sarah Walker was sworn in as student representative and will serve for the 2024-2025 academic year, and Mr. Wayne Rash was appointed by the NC Senate for a four-year term through 2028.
Also, during their July meeting, the Board of Trustees elected a new slate of officers. Mr. Church was appointed Chairman of the Board, Mr. Dale Hamby appointed Vice-Chair, Ms. Candis Hagaman was appointed Secretary and Mr. Lowell Younce was appointed Treasurer.
